Solar Picnic Tables

The Peacock Hall patio solar tables are a collaboration between the Renewable Energy Initiative (ASUREI), the Office of Sustainability, and the Walker College of Business. The solar picnic tables generate and store electricity for use day or night with 295 Watts of solar power. They operate entirely off-the-grid and feature: 4 standard 110v ac outlets and 4 USB type "A" outlets, 4 Qi-enabled wireless charging locations integrated into the table top, a 600W inverter with 1200W max output (10 min), and a table made from post-recycled plastic.
